Overland Journal Podcast Episode 192
Matt and Scott are back together broadcasting from the Overland Journal World Headquarters in Arizona, and in this episode of the pod, they’re tackling the top ten game-changers for modern overlanders. From lithium batteries to satellite communications to vans, they break down the most significant advances in tech, gear, and vehicles that have revolutionized the overland industry and travel experience.
Their list is pretty comprehensive, but we also want to know what you think. What did they miss? Personally, I think tires should have made the list. Modern tire technology has advanced by leaps and bounds in the last decade, almost to the point where punctures, flats, and other failures have been written out of the equation. Not to mention the huge range of sizes for high-quality off-road rubber now available for everything from Earth Roamers to Series 1 Land Rovers.
