Robeta Ananya Glampervan: Is There Such a Thing as Too Much Luxury? The Answer Is Yes

Robeta Mobil, the Slovenian specialist in premium camper vans, has unveiled its most ambitious model yet: the Ananya, which the company is boldly, and incorrectly, classifying as the world’s first “GlamperVan.” Scheduled for release in January 2026 as part of a limited Founders’ Edition, the Ananya reinterprets the concept of mobile living by placing residential comfort squarely at its core. Why not just stay home, you might ask? We have the same question.

Rather than treating the Ananya as a traditional camper van adapted for travel, Robeta concentrated on creating a compact space that supports how some people genuinely aspire to live, while still dreaming of living a life less ordinary. The Armani-wearing designers drew inspiration from yachts and multi-axle luxury motorhomes, aiming for an interior that feels more like a refined apartment than a vehicle.

The foundation of the Ananya is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 419 CDI 4×4 long-wheelbase chassis, offering both rugged capability and executive presence. At nearly 7 meters in length and standing at an impressive height, the vehicle maintains a familiar van footprint while exuding scaled-up luxury in shades of gold and ivory.

Inside, the Ananya emphasizes livability. An L-shaped couch stretches roughly 6.5 feet in both directions and offers substantial depth, surpassing what one would expect in a conventional van layout. The kitchen area is equally unrestrained, featuring a Bora Classic gas cooktop with auto-reignition, a full-sized oven, Corian countertops, and a 130-liter refrigerator, aka champagne dispenser—elements aligned more with bespoke residential kitchens than spartan camper setups.

Robeta made a notable departure in its bathroom design by choosing a hybrid hard-and-soft layout rather than traditional enclosed spaces. The shower and toilet area is framed with luxury finishes such as stone (!) flooring and microcement walls, while organic curtains provide privacy. What, no bidet?

To be fair, the structure of the Ananya showcases thoughtful engineering. The interior furniture is constructed using innovative materials—PET foam boards replace conventional plywood, and 8020 aerospace-grade aluminum forms a lightweight yet sturdy frame. Together, these techniques shed roughly 432 pounds of weight compared to typical build methods.

Space optimization continues with the placement of an “intelligent” wardrobe that discreetly conceals a washer-dryer combo. This contributes to a layout that flows from lounge to kitchen without compartmentalizing points.

Ananya’s premium positioning also includes off-grid readiness and advanced systems. It is equipped with EcoFlow’s 10-kilowatt-hour power system, dual 450-watt solar panels, a robust freshwater tank, heated flooring, and diesel heating—features designed to support autonomous travel, along with high-end tech additions such as Starlink connectivity, a cellular signal booster.

Price estimates for the Founders’ Edition place each unit at roughly $295,000, underscoring the model’s position in the ultra-luxury segment of mobile living. Our advice? I’d rather buy the yacht.
