New from RedArc: Tow-Pro Elite V3 Trailer Brake Controller

The newest version of RedArc’s trailer brake controllers, the Tow-Pro Elite V3, has just been released and it’s got some enhancements over the previous version that aim to provide a safer, more enjoyable towing experience.

Following the Tow-Pro V2, which received a 2017 Global Media Award at SEMA 2017, V3 features an easier installation process, better compatibility with new vehicle technology, and finally, some size adjustments. Specifically, the shape, length, size, and depth of the remote head have been altered to allow easier installation and better fitment in the thicker, curved dashboards of European cars and trucks. Installation of V3 only requires one hole to be drilled, and RedArc claims that this helps deliver improved illumination, increased visibility, and diffused light, ultimately providing better clarity of the braking force selected.

In addition to the hardware changes, software improvements have also been made which should deliver a smoother braking experience for users towing heavy loads. V3 maintains simple operation, with “proportional” and “user-controlled” braking, 12v or 24v input (with automatic voltage recognition) for hydraulic and electric trailer brakes.

“RedArc has continued to develop a range of vehicle-specific wiring kits that simplify installation via ‘plug and play’ style connectivity and switch inserts, which allow the installer to create a seamless looking remote head mount. Like all RedArc products, the Tow-Pro Elite V3 comes with ongoing support which includes a 2-year hassle-free warranty, technical support, and after-sales service to answer any questions which may arise.”
