Overland Classifieds :: Total Chaos 2015 Toyota Tacoma

Editor’s note: This build is currently listed for $40,000 OBO.

Perhaps you’ve recently received the call from your favorite performance parts company, outdoor retailer, or vehicle manufacturer, receiving the news that due to delays in the supply chain, the items you want need! won’t be available for months. You’re looking for something unique—something that’s turn-key and ready for summer. Something built for travel. Total Chaos’ six-speed manual 2015 Toyota Tacoma might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Crafted by Total Chaos’ team of professionals, “Rusty,” the 2nd-Gen Tacoma, is outfitted with the company’s signature mid-travel front suspension system, including Expedition Series lower control arms and custom Deaver Stage Three Expedition leaf springs in the rear. Rusty is also topped with a lightweight and highly sought-after Go Fast Camper. Another perk: the new owner of this build will rock a custom Total Chaos bumper, which is not generally available to the general public as the TC team builds them exclusively for internal project vehicles.

From Total Chaos:

“In early 2019, we decided to build a 2nd-Gen Tacoma that was all business. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. With recent overland builds including every possible bell and whistle, we think our boy “Rusty” is just about the perfect blend between function, form, and simplicity.

The time has come for our beloved Rusty to find a new home. Unfortunately, we do not use it and are ready to share our custom build with a lucky new owner! Rusty deserves to live life in the great outdoors with a cool-ass cat that wants to buy a piece of Total Chaos hand-crafted history.”

On the zig-zag route south, she hiked craggy peaks in the Andes, discovered diverse cultures in 15 different countries, and filled her tummy with spicy ceviche, Baja fish tacos, and Argentinian Malbec.
