Detroit-based American Expedition Vehicles has been taking Jeeps, Rams, and Chevy trucks, and bolstering their off-road capabilities with some of the best OE-quality aftermarket gear available. But unlike most upfitting projects, which take place after a customer purchases a stock vehicle, AEV generally takes factory-ordered vehicles directly from OEMs, kitting them out with lifts, wheels, bumpers, and more, and then delivering them to their customers at the respective dealership. Customers can then pick up their rig, ready to hit the trail (to be fair, more ready) for an overland adventure from day one.
Today’s classified vehicle is a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon that has been kitted out by AEV before going to Mule Expedition Outfitters where it was outfitted with an Alu-Cab canopy camper. With a miniumal 3000 miles on the odometer, this vehicle is practically new and ready for its next captain.
From the Seller:
“Mule Expedition Outfitters in Washington just finished installing [an] Alu-Cab [canopy camper] on my 2021 Gladiator. [I’m] realizing I need more space, so willing to let go of it at cost. The car is currently at Mule ready for pick up.”
2021 AEV Upfitted Jeep Gladiator Rubicon
The Jeep Gladiator Rubicon is a supremely capable off-highway vehicle. Having driven a Gladiator with no upgrades other than larger tires, I was shocked at the obstacles I was able to conquer on the trail. This is one of the most admirable qualities of Jeep vehicles like the Gladiator; it makes off-highway driving approachable to just about everyone.
This 2021 Gladiator is equipped with the 3.6-liter Pentastar (gas) V6 that generates 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, an 8-speed 850 RE automatic transmission, 4.10 axel ratio, and Dana 44 front/rear axels.
