Although the wild anticipation of the Jeep Gladiator has settled since its introduction at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2018, the platform’s uniqueness remains. Slowly gaining traction in the overland world, we’ve seen several renditions traveling the world, including Dan Grec’s Australian 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and Hourless Life’s Gladiator Sport S with a Max Tow Package currently gracing the charming towns of Guatemala, its sights set southbound.
A huge bonus: the Gladiator beats most of its competitors regarding payload capacity. The platform can be easily modified, and those desiring solid front and rear axles with available locking differentials will be pleased. To learn more about this build from the owner himself, listen to Episode 7 of the Overland Journal Podcast, where Matt Scott shares details and insights into this 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon.
From the Seller:
“Built for global travel, perfect for technical terrain in North America. This 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon was professionally built with no expenses spared. Starting with a fully-loaded model with all packages, including a Saddle Leather interior, the Jeep was then equipped with the entire American Expedition Vehicles catalog, including suspension, wheels, bumper, and snorkel. Gears from the OEM manufacturer Dana-Spicer were installed in a 4.88 ratio, and differential covers from the same brand were installed at the same time. A Goose Gear 70% rear seat delete was installed in the vehicle, and a 30% seat delete is also included.”

The 2020 Gladiator Rubicon’s strengths lie in its ability to tackle technical terrain while boasting decent payload capacity. With a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, 285 horsepower, and the option of an 8-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission, the Gladiator is a force to be reckoned with. Interior creature comforts in this specific model include heated seats and steering wheel, a premium sound system, and an LED lighting package.
