Overland Classifieds :: 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon

I’ve been somewhat obsessed with the Jeep Wrangler ever since I discovered the adventures of Dan Grec. If you’re not familiar with his travels, I highly recommend checking out his website and picking up a copy of his book The Road Chose Me II, which documents the three years he spent driving 54,000 miles around Africa in a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. He states that he chose the Wrangler because it was big enough to sleep inside, fits into a 20-foot shipping container, provides legendary capability, and has excellent reliability. Dan is not the only overlander who covets the Wrangler for travel, with adventure-ready examples regularly posted to our forum; these include a 2019 ultimate overland build, a 2013 Sahara Unlimited, and a 2007 with a Cummins 4BT. If you’d like a better idea of how this platform can be converted into a comfortable micro-camper, check out these builds from Drew Simms and MainLine Overland. Today’s 2013 example has covered just 50,000 miles and showcases a selection of AEV upgrades. It’s worth noting that, according to the seller, “the title is rebuilt due to front-end damage, which was repaired by previous owners. It has undergone Pennsylvania inspection, and I have the title in hand.” As a result, this rig is listed at just $25,000 OBO.

From the Seller:

“This Jeep has been a great addition to my family and taken us on many awesome adventures. Buying this Jeep as a rebuilt title was a bit unnerving but after tons of research and talking to experts it has been the best decision I have made. This vehicle has undergone a state-enhanced inspection and has never let us down. It has allowed me to get into a robust overland vehicle and make all the modifications I wanted at a price I could otherwise not have afforded. As our family grows it’s time to move onto to something bigger but I hope this Jeep goes to someone who will appreciate it and make the most of it.”
