Overland Classifieds :: 2012 Ford E-350 RB Baja Rig

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of the Ford E-350 4×4 conversions and have recently featured several lovely examples, including this V10 Quigley 4×4 Hightop and a 1997 Quigley 4×4 Ambulance. The prices for these stunning rigs seem to vary dramatically, with some listings fetching over $100,000. Hence, at $55,000, this V8 offering represents great value, especially considering the long list of modifications. This is easily one of the best-looking E-350s we’ve featured and has been meticulously maintained by its current owner. Oil changes have been completed every 5,000-miles, and air conditioning, front and rear differential, rear brakes, and transmission flush all completed at 140,00 -miles (currently 147,000 miles). The reason for sale is the owner is currently building this 2005 Kodiak 4×4 truck for full-time travel.

From the Seller:

I built this platform to be agile and rugged enough for trips to Baja, and still a great rig for the Eastern Sierras. I started camping in Mexico in the early eighties, during surf trips with friends. My van was originally a 10-passenger shuttle bus. I’m tall, so I opted for a queen bed platform with storage underneath the bed, instead of building out the interior with fridge and stove/sink options. Plus, my daughter was young, so second row seating was necessary and outdoor cooking is pretty easy in Baja. After getting stuck on a beach in Bahía Asunción for three days, I decided to invest in a full 4×4 conversion by Agile Off Road in Santee, California. Along the way, I also added various upgrades and rigging hacks from reading various build threads on Expedition Portal.”
