I recently shared a $12,500 2005 Toyota Sequoia that has since sold and was surprised to see another listed this week. The Sequoia is not the first name that comes to mind when we think about overlanding, but with a long-lived 5.7-liter V8, Toyota’s impressive All-Trac 4WD system, and a center locking differential, it’s a very capable all-terrain vehicle. Today’s well-maintained example has covered 181,770 miles and boasts all factory options, including heated/power leather captain chairs, sunroof, premium JBL audio, DVD system, Bluetooth, navigation, tow package, and more. However, perhaps the most notable inclusion is the 2018 Tundra TRD Pro front clip conversion, which completely transforms the 14-year-old Sequoia and could fool anyone into thinking this was fresh off the assembly line.
From the Seller:
“The Sequoia has been impeccably maintained since original ownership and has been garage-kept most of its life. Recent maintenance over the last two years included replacing the starter, water pump, serpentine belt, spark plugs, brakes, all fluids, and more. The front two seats and center console were professionally reupholstered, and the entire floor carpet [replaced]. More recently, a new battery and 35/12.5R18 BFGoodrich KO2s on the 18- x 9-inch Level 8 MK6 wheels [were added] with a four-wheel alignment, new ceramic tint, and a second ceramic coat to further protect the paint. This custom-built Sequoia by Steelman Built is one of a kind and in near immaculate condition, both inside and out, with no dents nor rust. The truck runs and drives incredibly smooth and strong. It does not burn or leak a drop of fluid. Clean Hawai’i title and Carfax provided.”
