Jeep Brand and Jeep Performance Parts Showcase Seven New Concepts at the 59th Annual Easter Jeep Safari

The Jeep brand, along with Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) by Mopar, is captivating off-road enthusiasts at the 59th Annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, from April 12 to 20, 2025. This year’s event features seven innovative concept vehicles, each uniquely designed to pay tribute to Jeep’s heritage while previewing future trends in off-road capability.

CEO of the Jeep brand, Bob Broderdorf, said,

“Easter Jeep Safari was created by Jeep owners for Jeep owners.”

He emphasized the event’s significance in guiding Jeep’s development and strengthening community connections. The event, he noted, provides a crucial opportunity for enthusiasts to experience Jeep’s capabilities firsthand.

Among the concept vehicles debuting this year is the Jeep Convoy Concept. Inspired by military-style design, this classic Gladiator-based build represents Jeep’s long-standing commitment to durability and practicality. Its design emphasizes timeless aesthetics combined with modern functional enhancements.

Our favorite concept vehicle is the drool-worthy Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe Sunchaser Concept. This vehicle is equipped for extensive outdoor activities and features practical storage solutions and equipment mounts, making it ideal for day-long excursions.

Not only is the Rubicon specced Sunchaser a head-turner, but it is also an incredibly capable and powerful beast. The Jeep’s turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine alone delivers 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. However, combined with the 4xe hybrid system, total output increases significantly to 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.

Another standout, competing for our attention with the Sunchaser, is the Jeep Bug Out 4xe Concept, which expands on the Wrangler platform with an extended, ultralight carbon fiber body aimed at overlanding enthusiasts.

This vehicle integrates advanced materials and camping functionality, catering specifically to off-grid adventures. This two-seater, with ample storage capacity, is perfect for a couple looking to hit the trails and stay out for a while.

For fans nostalgic about vibrant automotive eras, the Jeep Rewind Concept captures the essence of bold neon styling reminiscent of the late 20th century. This Wrangler-based build aims to evoke memories while delivering contemporary performance standards.

The Jeep Wrangler 4xe Blueprint Concept takes a different approach, acting as a tangible showcase of nearly 40 factory-tested JPP components. This “rolling catalog” highlights accessories and upgrades available directly from Jeep Performance Parts, offering an easy way to visualize potential enhancements for Jeep owners.

The Jeep Gladiator High Top Honcho Concept revives the spirit of the mid-1970s Jeep Honcho, known for its distinctive heritage styling. By combining classic design elements with modern performance capabilities, this concept adds a fresh personality to Jeep’s highly capable mid-size truck lineup.

Lastly, the Jeep J6 Honcho Concept blends late-1970s aesthetics with contemporary Jeep Performance Parts and Mopar accessories. It bridges the past and the present, demonstrating how historical designs can be integrated seamlessly with modern off-road requirements.

In addition to these concept unveilings, the Jeep brand continues its commitment to environmental stewardship. Jeep and JPP employees, partnering with Red Rock 4-Wheelers and the Bureau of Land Management, will undertake a trail cleanup effort at Moab’s Dome Plateau. This annual initiative involves extensive restoration activities, reinforcing Jeep’s dedication to responsible off-roading.

Further enhancing the Safari experience, Jeep has introduced 10 new “Badge of Honor” trails nationwide, including three in Moab: Wipe Out Hill, D2700 Lost World, and Kane Creek Canyon. This program rewards off-roaders who complete designated trails with physical badges accessible through a dedicated mobile app.

Attendees can interact with these concept vehicles at the Jeep and JPP display, located at Walker Drug in downtown Moab, from April 14 to 18.

Additional activities include the opportunity to test-drive current Jeep models and participate in community events, which enrich the overall Easter Jeep Safari experience.
