Expedition Portal Classifieds: Basil Lynch’s FJ Cruiser

If you read our home page with any consistency, or browse overlanding vehicles on Instagram, there’s a good chance you already recognize this truck. It belongs to Basil Lynch, an up and coming photographer in the industry, and a contributor to Expedition Portal. Over the past few years Basil has transformed this silver FJ Cruiser into a capable and reliable overland vehicle by utilizing some of the best products on the market, but the time has finally come to sell it. With plans to hit the road full time, he has decided that a larger vehicle is needed, and the Toyota has to go. That means that some lucky enthusiast will wind up with an awesome FJ for their next adventure, and a load of cool pictures and magazine features to boot, so let’s take a closer look.

Description

For sale is my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I bought the FJ with 68,000 miles in April 2013, it was purchased bone stock with the upgrade package (rear locker, side airbags, A-trac upgraded stock sound system, etc.). The FJ is Titanium Metallic in color, and had the roof was painted in Line-X black; most of the silver trim has been painted black. Please keep in mind that this FJ has been well used, it has its fair share of dents/scratches/damage, but mechanically the FJ is in great shape. I changed the oil every 5,000 miles with full synthetic oil, along with the differentials and transfer case every 20k with royal purple gear oil. This truck is being sold with all aftermarket accessories! Well over $30,000 in parts in the truck.
