“THE WORLD BELONGS TO THE BRAVE”

These are the words I live by today. With 2 million fans across my social media channels and 80 million+ video views, I’m a professional storyteller on YouTube and Instagram, a travel TV host, and a wholehearted, adventurous human with a passion for travelling to places you won’t see represented in mainstream media. Human connection, adventure, challenge, nature: that’s my vibe.

But it wasn’t always like that.

Just three years ago, I was living the typical corporate life of an over-achiever in London: a cushy, well-paid job that kept me anxious and glued to “the system”, a relationship that seemed “perfect” on the surface and an over-reliance on material things to fulfill me.

But as I went through life in a daze, I started to realise this wasn’t the reality I wanted to live. Long story short, I quit my job, left my personal life behind, moved out of London and booked a one-way ticket to Nepal, in the hope of telling stories on YouTube, with no previous qualifications in filmmaking.

That’s how my adventure with travel content began. 3 years on, I produce my own travel show on YouTube, create travel films for partner brands and host travel documentaries. With an audience of 2 million people across my channels, my mission is to spread a message of courage, positivity and independence.

What did I do before making travel films?

As the company’s first employee, for four years I led the growth of Culture Trip, a travel media start-up, from 300k to 10M monthly visitors and from 0 to 5M social media fans, plus 1BN video views in a single year.

Before that, I worked at the European Parliament in Brussels, travelled like a madwoman and studied French & German at the University of Oxford.

More recently, I’ve presented the 6-part TV series ‘A Place Called Pakistan’ on TRT World, and consulted as an expert for EuroNews as the platform launched its first-ever Travel platform on social media.
