2001 Toyota Tundra TRD 4×4 w/ Four Wheel Campers Hawk :: Classifieds

Toyota Tundra first gen

The first-gen Tundra is legendary and remains a great option for travel with recent adventure-equipped examples on the forum including this 2004 SR5, 2006, and 2007 with a Four Wheel Campers Hawk and utility trailer. However, today’s 2001 Toyota Tundra TRD 4×4 with a Four Wheel Campers Hawk has to be one of the most impressive we’ve showcased. I concur with the seller that this is indeed a “unicorn” as it’s in almost immaculate condition (always garaged) and has covered a mere 66,400 miles despite being more than 20 years old. If you’re in the market for the ultimate low-mileage, first-gen Tundra, then this is the perfect blank canvas to build your dream overland rig. If you’d like a better idea of how this platform can be uprated for adventure, check out the builds from 208Tyler, Trail Runner Customs, and Terra Crew. However, the paragon of first-gen builds has to be Basil Lynch’s (Basil’s Garage) 2005 Toyota Tundra featured by Senior Editor Stephan Edwards.

From the Seller:

So, I have a bit of a unicorn. Original owner was an extremely meticulous university professor that loved this Tundra and spared no expense. The Tundra and Hawk camper are time capsules in a condition that has to be seen to be believed. They each come with a thick folder of every piece of paperwork and documentation you can imagine. Dealer window stickers, brochures, pamphlets, instruction manuals, order receipts for desired options, and all receipts along the way. I can’t imagine there is a cleaner, more documented combo than this one. I would love to keep it forever but I can’t imagine even scratching such a jewel and need the money. Drives, handles, brakes, and looks like a new vehicle.
