Toyota Land Cruiser 100 series

The Toyota Land Cruiser is considered by many as the definitive overland vehicle and remains the 4WD by which all others are measured. It’s one of the most popular platforms on our forum with recent adventure-ready offerings including this 1999, a 2004, and a 1998. The 100 Series is one of the very best Land Cruisers, thanks to exceptionally long-lived motors, renowned capability, class-leading build quality, and well-equipped interiors. Furthermore, it enjoys access to excellent aftermarket parts and accessories as illustrated by this feature build by the team at ARB. If you’d like a better idea of how this iconic 4WD platform performs as a travel companion, check out the rigs from Overlandtraum, Bean Cruisin, and Scale of Two. Today’s 1998 offering has covered 210,750 miles and features premium modifications.

From the Seller:

I purchased this 100 Series in 2015 from a Land Cruiser enthusiast who had recently completed a mild build and full maintenance overhaul. Since then it has been on adventure/part-time commuter duty for my family. This Toyota has been dead reliable, as expected. I would describe the Land Cruiser as mechanically sound, and cosmetically, a 10-footer. Upon close inspection, you will see some pinstriping from tight trails and a handful of small dings from 25 years of service. This truck is not a trail beater, nor is it a pristine garage queen. I believe it’s the perfect truck for overland travel, i.e. not so perfect you are afraid to drive it, but very clean and reliable.”
