2001 Ford F-350 Lariat w/ Alaskan Camper :: Classifieds

As someone who has endured three engine failures in three years, I can’t stress enough the importance of choosing a vehicle with a dependable motor and drivetrain. The reliability of Ford’s 7.3-liter Power Stroke diesel, as fitted to today’s F-350, is legendary, with many well-maintained examples exceeding 1,000,000 miles. Sure, it’s not the most powerful or economical, but these are minor considerations when you consider its immense lifespan. If you’d like a better idea of how this platform performs as a rolling home, check out this unique and capable build from Truck House Life. Today’s 2001 F-350 Lariat has covered 128,783 miles and features a plethora of tasteful upgrades and is topped with a well-equipped Alaskan camper. The F-350 is also highly customizable thanks to excellent aftermarket support, which means it can be transformed from a cross-country tourer into a legitimate backcountry crawler (as demonstrated by this build shared by Blue Ridge Overland Gear).

From the Seller:

I’m willing to separate the truck and camper but would prefer to sell as a package. The F-350 spent most of its life in Arizona (I bought it in Yuma from the original owner), and it has no rust. I have some service records along with the original window sticker. The camper fully loaded averages around 12 mpg at 75 mph.”

A long-lived motor is mated with excellent backcountry capability thanks to 4WD, high and low range, aftermarket suspension, skid plates, and more.
