Video of the Week: Bruder Jumps their EXP-4 and 200 Series

Most of us know that trailers don’t handle as well as vehicles off-road. Sure, advanced suspension systems with coil springs, airbags, and A-arms have improved their performance by leaps and bounds over the years, but they still tend to bounce and jar going down the trail. Apparently, Bruder didn’t get that memo though, because they just released a rather mind-blowing video of their EXP-4 off road, and it might just perform better than the Land Cruiser it is towed behind. From negotiating tight sandy tracks to jumping their 200 series with the trailer in tow, this video gives you an in depth look at just how crazy the EXP-4 really is, and why it is so much more than just a large teardrop trailer. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Chris didn’t receive a real taste of the outdoors until moving to Prescott, Arizona, in 2009. While working on his business degree, he learned to fly and spent his weekends exploring the Arizona desert and high country. It was there that he fell in love with backcountry travel and four-wheel drive vehicles, eventually leading him to Overland Journal and Expedition Portal. After several years of honing his skills in writing, photography, and off-road driving, Chris now works for the company full time as Expedition Portal's Senior Editor while living full-time on the road.
