When it comes to overland vehicles, few are as loved or revered as the Toyota Land Cruiser. These legendary trucks can be found in the most remote corners of the globe, and command an almost fanatical following of enthusiasts, but it wasn’t always so. Back in the fifties, the Land Cruiser was simply an imitation Jeep, and they were just beginning their journey towards automotive fame. We’ve read several accounts of their progression from tin tubs with wheels to the ultra-modern 200-series we have today, but none are as interesting or downright funny as the video recently posted by Donut Media.
