Jay and his family have lived in Singapore, the USA, Canada, Mexico, India, and now Kenya on their overland journey of discovery. Jay and his wife Alice also operate numerous not-for-profit organizations providing support to millions around the world.

Jay Shapiro is Founder and CEO of Usiku Games. He has a 20-year track record as a successful entrepreneur, digital marketer, and visionary strategist.

After leaving Canada in 1995, Jay moved to Asia and completed his MBA at the National University of Singapore. He went on to launch BLUE, which would become one of the largest digital marketing agencies in the world. Jay then partnered with CTO David Hoare to create AppMakr, a no-code mobile app publishing platform that helped over 3 million small businesses around the world to launch their first native mobile app.

Having two successful ventures acquired, Jay and his family moved to Africa, to create Usiku Gamesa social impact gaming company. Through Usiku Games, Jay has set upon his largest challenge yet, to create the multi billion dollar gaming industry across the continent.

Jay’s custom bio-diesel-powered Ford F-650 adventure vehicle is known as the EcoRoamer. You can read more about the extensive build on the Expedition Portal forum.
