Overland Classifieds :: 2021 Ram 2500 Prospector XL w/ GFC XL

If you’re looking for a hardcore go-anywhere full-size truck, then the Prospector should be a top contender. AEV (American Expedition Vehicles) take the already capable Ram 2500 and overhaul it for the road less traveled. Upgrades include AEV heavy-duty bumpers, DualSport RT suspension, Warn winch, 40-inch Toyo mud terrain tires, Vision X lighting, fender flares, and more. Subsequently, it’s a popular overland platform on our forum with recent examples, including this 2017 XL 20th Anniversary Edition, a 2017 with a GFC V1, and a 2017 with a Four Wheel Campers Woolrich camper. The Prospector has been engineered from the ground up to perform optimally when the tarmac ends, as demonstrated by Offroad Treks and FOTORNR. Exceptional all-terrain performance is matched with impressive workhorse credentials such as a 4,010-pound max payload and up to a 17,540-pound towing capacity. This makes the Prospector a great option for overland builds with plentiful capacity for a well-equipped camper, as demonstrated by builds from Expedition Superstore and OK4WD. If you’d like to hear more from the Expedition Portal team on this platform, then check out these articles from Chris Cordes and Christophe Noel. Today’s 2021 offering has covered just 11,900 miles and features premium modifications and a Go Fast Campers’ XL camper.

From the Seller:

This is an amazing truck, and I am sad to part with it. The truck has only been on dirt twice, so it is very lightly used and is in excellent condition. I would estimate it has been on dirt roads for less than 30 miles. The only additions I’ve made are the AEV spare tire carrier and spare tire. Some custom installation was required by my local AEV dealer in order to fit with the camper. The total project cost roughly $4,000.”
