Overland Classifieds :: 2007 Land Rover Defender TD4

In an attempt to bring the classic Defender up to date, the vehicle underwent a series of revisions in the Spring of 2007 to meet new emissions and safety regulations. The most significant change was replacing the previous Td5 engine with a Ford Duratorq engine, known as the Puma. This new motor, a version of the 2.4-liter four-cylinder from the successful Ford Transit, was adapted for use in harsh, off-road conditions and offered improved torque and acceleration. Additionally, a new 6-speed gearbox was introduced, offering better low-speed control and reduced noise and fuel consumption at high speeds. The interior of the Defender was also updated, with a new dashboard layout, instrumentation from the Discovery 3, and an improved heating and ventilation system.

This 2007 Land Rover Defender TD4 is more than ready for your next overland trip. The vehicle is listed as a camper (Wohnmobil) and is equipped with all the necessary features for a comfortable and convenient journey. With German plates and papers, it is currently located in Guatemala City.
