We recently showcased the All-New 2024 Land Cruiser and many observers commented that it was reminiscent of the FJ Cruiser. I agree and it further supports that the FJ remains a desirable and contemporary design twenty years on. This iconic Toyota was first revealed at the 2003 Detroit Motor Show as a concept vehicle but it was so well received that the company decided to put it into production and sold 55,000 units for two years consecutively before demand subsided. The success of the FJ is no surprise considering it seamlessly mates the Land Cruiser’s fabled rugged dependability and capability with futuristic styling and a refined interior. There are of course some drawbacks such as cramped rear seating and no diesel option (aftermarket conversions are available) but these are far outweighed by the benefits. Today’s 2007 FJ Cruiser has covered 173,567 miles and features premium modifications.
From the Seller:
“The FJ Cruiser offers Toyota’s legendary reliability and is built for off-road adventures or overlanding. Everything works, add your own rooftop tent and you’re ready to go on your next adventure.”
