Now that things start taking the final shape, i realised that tub is not deep enough...
So i came up with this solution.

"L" shaped irron bolted on top of it.
So my tub is now 3" deeper

Which one would you use?

Οk,
I could use some of your help here...
The trailer is going to be painted Olive Drab.
Every cord being used is going to be Parachute cord(souvenir from the army).
All covers(Jerry can cover, air mattresses etc)are going to be camouflage color.
I have two options
#1, Greek army camouflage

#2 German army camouflage

Here in comparison

Which one would you use?

Thanks for the interest.
Made some progress.
Finished the two lids, the custom canvas top and few other details.
No time to upload(Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!).
In the meantime I did a few things to the Jeep like upgrading both axles(shafts,ARB lockers)'trying
to built a custom snorkel etc that are time and money consuming...

Sorry: I did not comprehend that correctly, You are making covers from fabric not painting.
I was in a painting state of mind. " I just painted my fenders Red urban Camo"

Project Lazar(coming back from the grave)

Due to trailer registration law change, i decided to leave the project.
Before i finish it,the law changed and there was no chance to register
a not factory built trailer...

...But...
I've found a way after a loooooooong time, got it registered and I'm back.
I've connected the tub to the chassis.
Here's my 2'' body lift

The good thing of the long delay is that my little helper has been grown a bit...:)
So I made the two lids that flip out and serve as beds

The dubble one 7'x55''

And the single one 7'x30''

Both beds deployed(well...upper half...)

And the most challenging part...to make 'em all fit...:wings:

And YES,it is olive drab colored

Well.....here I'm......back....(blushing....).
I finally finished and used the tent trailer for a couple of years....just to find out that it was not what i really needed.
It served me well but life and needs are changing and so has the old (now) trailer of mine....
Since you guys are giving me so much energy (I pretty often sneak back here) I will try to share my (new thoughts).
First of all the tent was taking much time and effort to set up so this had to change.
And so, that it was mainly for summer use.

I keep the rolling chassis and tub and change the rest.
Here was a fellow adventurist that copied the UEV 440 for his project.I will use as a basic idea the UEV 360.
But it will be much more than a queen size bed............

So I started with the the two side parts.
As less marine grade plywood are possible this time....
They're going to serve as bed (well half of it) and plenty of storage room underneath...
