all right guys. we've all been there. many times it's scared the crap out of us, sometimes it's on purpose, in good fun, or nothing to worry about. sometimes were alone (the worst feeling) and other times we're fortunate enough to be out with a group or at least one other truck.

so let's see your stuck pictures!

i'll go ahead and apoligize to timmy for embarrassing him. :snorkel:

I was trying to turn around and had to drive off the road to what looked like nothing more than normal patch of dirt and grass, that turned to be soaked after recent rains and about consistency of goo - the front of the truck just sank in -

everything was going fine until one rear wheel was in the air and the other started sliding sideways as I gave it some gas, which landed rear diff on the side of the big rock -

This is the only time I have been stuck in my Tacoma. I was in Anza-Borrego with a friend and buried myself to the frame on a mini-sand dune. I was stuck for a few minutes at most but it was a fun learning experience.

I used to do pipeline survey as my first job out of college, needless to say there was LOTS of offroad driving. I had just crossed this hole in the companies old hardbody Nissan (that thing was indestructible) when my boss tried in his F250 it didn't go so well. We all got a good laugh out of it and I happened to snap a few pictures, we actually had this blown up to poster size and gave it to him for xmas that year. My old boss is shown walking away in shame lol

i thought that 101 was a series from the first picture. that was deep!

It was two bent con rods deep! Followed by a four hour drag home on the end of a tow strap. Late October and no heat. My buddy froze his butt off.

Automotive ADHD is fun!
Interestingly enough, I neglected to photograph much of the image of my only incident. Hubris made me take the wrong line through a seemingly simple obstacle because, well, I drive a bad-MMM jeep!

But I did get to play with my new winch!

Surprisingly, the "side steps" made of exhaust tubing not only held up well, but did protect the body of the truck. Eventually I will get real sliders, but I was happy with the PO at that moment for his trashy ghetto-mod.
