Hi friends,
A lot has been happening over here, whether I have been ready or not! As some of you know, I've been waiting for a surgery to get me back on track. Well, we finally have a date- October 18th. I can't describe how happy we are as it's been a long time coming. I was planning to wait until after I was rehabbed to run a sale or group buy, but the timing is much better now due to a few factors. I have a new CNC manufacturer that has been making beautiful parts and takes the heavy lifting off my plate. Also, Sam and Beatrice Craven of OutdoorX4 magazine did a fabulous write up of an Alpha System in the latest issue (issue 16). In addition to that, I will be displaying a custom system at SEMA this November in an exciting build Greg Henderson is doing for myTop, a company that makes very cool powered Jeep tops. I can't say much about the build other than the fact that it will be very original and very cool. All of this has come to a head and I also have a list of folks that have been waiting for the sale, so we're charging ahead.

As of now all TrekboxX products are 10% off through October 17th. I am hoping to avoid any large lead times due to my surgery by having any outsourced components being worked on during that time. Lead times normally run 6-8 weeks from order to shipping, and can go longer depending on order volume. I basically take the same care with each system whether we are backlogged or not. So, if you are interested in a system and are in any kind of hurry you won't want to wait until October 17 to place your order. Either way, I make myself totally available to any customers and am transparent about the process and lead times.

You can view the full article from OutdoorX4 HERE.

Please stop by my website at www.trekboxx.com. I've updated the site with new photos, some articles on drawer systems, and some new products. More to come.

Thank you all for your kind words and support!

David

Very nice product and an awesome opportunity to get things on sale. Good luck with the surgery and recovery - sounds like life will be a lot more enjoyable after it's over!

Hey David,

First off I want to say you have an awesome looking product and seriously it looks to be one of the best quality storage solutions on the market right now (at least in the Jeep circles)

I do have one question, on the JKU storage solutions(in either the Alpha or Bravo) how are the systems secured to the Jeep? If its a trade secret please don't feel the need to share that, because I dont want to infringe on your hard work and R&D.

Thanks!

No worries. No trade secrets here. I enjoy sharing with folks and love to see people build their own stuff. It's what I like to do as well. If someone wants to steal my designs and try to make a living I say good luck! :) There's more to it than meets the eye...

The JKU systems have counterbored holes in the bottom of the system. They are through-bolted into the 4 of the 6 threaded holes where the existing cargo tie down points attach.

Thank you for this information! I'll pull my carpet up and see if my 2007 JKU has those threaded holes. I've seen some designs that require you to drill though the tub of the jeep, and I would like to avoid that if possible. Again, thank you for sharing this information!

Hey guys. Due to quite a few requests, I have just finished the design and will be taking orders on the new System Sierra for the Land Cruiser 100. It's a split drawer system that works as a whole, but each side can be purchased and used separately. Great for you guys who need to run a third row seat. This way if you ever want to upgrade to a full system, you only need to get the other side so your original investment is not wasted. You can find all of the details on the website at www.trekboxx.com.

I see that on your JKU gear it says that it fits '11 to '15 . Was there a change in 16 or the site just needs an update? Mine also came with the factory subwoofer, will the system work with that?

Aloha,
Any solutions for a 2012 Landrover LR4?....
Been looking to build out my own storage solution but I like how yours have the built in barriers.

I actually just checked out a new JKU the other day. Looks like it will work fine with the sub in the floor. If you have the sub on the side it will need to be removed. I have part numbers for the trim kit to accomplish this.

Not yet. The models are driven by popularity and frankly, time. I'm pretty much a one man show over here. I don't know a ton about the Land Rovers, so any insight would be appreciated!

Aloha again,
Not sure what you would need for a LR4, but your LC100 Alpha and Zulu1 drawer would be exactly what I would make for my truck :)

Well, I don't know much about the LR4, so I don't have a gauge on whether there would be a market for these systems. Any input you have would be appreciated. Also, I would need one for quite a while for fitment. I try to make these as efficient as possible for each model, which is why I don't offer a "modular" system. They are just not efficient. I'm sure I could sell a whole lot more if I did, but I am trying to stay true to the mission to make the best quality system with no compromises.
