I wanted to write up a thread to show the iPhone mount I did in my 2008 Tacoma recently. The inspiration came from this similar post. Overall, the installation took all of 5 minutes and is very, very sturdy. I'm impressed.

Parts List
- RAM B-367U Motorcycle Handlebar Mount
- RAM Socket Arm w/ Diamond Base + Short Arm
- RAM HOL-AP11U iPhone 5S Holder
- 6mm, 1.0 pitch, 60mm length hex cap screw
- Hearty collection of 6mm small washers for spacers. You could get a spacer for a cleaner look, but I didn't feel like playing a guessing game.
Tools List
- 10mm Socket to remove factory A-pillar "Oh Crap!" bar bolt
- 5mm hex key or hex socket to attach new 6mm cap screw
Instructions
- Use a small regular screwdriver to remove the plastic cover over the Crap bar bolt
- Use the 10mm socket to remove the factory bolt.
- Take the RAM ball mount add the new 6mm cap screw and washers for spacing.
- Attach the entire assembly back into the factory location.
- Ensure that the RAM ball mount stick out far enough so that there is enough space so that the arm assembly can clear the Crap bar itself.
- Attach the iPhone holder to the other end of the RAM arm assembly.
- Attach everything together and tighten down.
- Go overlanding and enjoy.
