Canadian Made Metal Pop-top Trailer

Appreciate the pictures on this site. I'm working on a trailer of my own built out of 14gauge material. Materials were cut by water torch and bent in a shop for the cost of $2200. Has taken about one week of welding. The tub is as wide as my Jeep, and 7ft long. Will sleep 4 people and hopefully tow better than an anchor.
More pictures to come.

Thanks for the encouragement, working on it tomorrow, should get the suspension finished, bottom side of the floor painted and tipped oner onto its wheels. If the day goes realy well I will get the front rack finished and work on the pully system that lifts the roof.

Very nice job!! I love to see the neat designs come together on this forum. In the pictures above, what do you have in mind for the opening in the end panel? Something clever I'm sure.

Monday was a good day. We got pretty much everything done that I wanted to do. We'll try to get back at it evenings this week.

picture of the rear step - hope I don't lose it on the first pebble I drive over, it might be hanging a little low.

forgot to say, the pockets up front will be used for storage, possibly for propane boiler to create in-floor heat?

The opening in the end panel is for a hinged door for the pop-top.

If anybody's interested in the plans, I have the engineered drawings in a pdf format for $50
