I'd like to invite you all to the "Virtual Product Release Party" for AT's new Composite Drawer Systems.

You can view the drawers here http://www.adventuretrailers.com/drawer.html

The components are cut on a CNC router, and finished with a durable urethane coat. One of the great features about the system is that you can mix and match the drawers and configure them for your own needs and vehicle.

We are currently taking orders for the drawers, delivery will be in early January.

If you have any questions on the product please e mail me; info at adventuretrailers dot com

I am completely in love with your drawers Martyn :ylsmoke:

Actually, the drawers are awesome and completely transformed the storage in the Disco. It is good to see that the top box is a little shorter in the production model at 12" high. That will be perfect, and allow more lashing configurations on the top.

Thanks for making another great product.

They look really nice, however there is no mention to how one mounts the units to their vehicles? I would love to mount them in my Range Rover Classic.

We provide L brackets for the mounting. The brackets are mounted to the side of the box using T nuts, washers, and 1/4" low profile bolts. The attachment to the vehicle could either be bolt through or by using a 1/4 20 rivnuts and low profile bolts.

If you did not wish to have external hardware the base could be attached using rivnuts, 1/4 20 low profile bolts and 1/4 fender washers. This method is very clean in appearance.

Thank you for pointing out the lack of information on mounting the drawer to the vehicle. I'll get back onto the web page tomorrow and start adding extra information.

Looking great guys!

Are you guys going to start making deeper boxs for beds of trucks, LC, and etc.. between 4' to 5' deep?

Do they fully open?

Anyways....those look slick!

;)

The great thing about CNC designs is they can be stretched every which way. If there was enough demand we could defiantly make truck size boxes. If others are interested in a design like this please PM or e mail me. I am particularly interested in the usable distance between the wheel wells, and the depth of the drawer you might be interested in.

Regarding the drawers, they slide out all the way, we use heavy duty full extension slides.

I got to see these materials in person and I can tell you that their weight or lack thereof belie their strength. These are super strong and very lightweight.

Great designs gentlemen and thanks for giving all of us options to create our own configuration!!! :)

Very cool I'd love to have some of these for my new 4Runner build, but I'm afraid they are beyond my budget at this point!

Good luck!

Stupid Question...do they fit into the trailers?

After checking these out at SEMA its nice to see them come alive! :victory:

Nice work M&M. I also saw them in LV and they are slick indeed! USA made! Lightweight (more "green" to ship than other drawers on the market because they can be UPS'd and are considerably lighter than AO drawers); customizable; etc. Did I mention lightweight :p

I think my African Outback Drawers are about 100lbs(?) empty. Considering the AO drawers are $1500++; have to be shipped 1/2 around the world...then trucked to your garage I'd say you have a winner product on your hands! Oh yeah: They'll require just a little less fuel for your rig to move around too...very green indeed!

Good luck to you and Mario!

They are not specifically designed for trailers, but that doesn't mean they won't work.

There are two issues with getting a drawer to slide out of a tail gate. 1) If there is a lower lip the drawer has to clear it. 2) the tail gate is usually narrower than the width of the trailer. If you can get around those two issue it's plane sailing.

We do have a design for a specialized system for the back of a trailer or vehicle that would incorporate a kitchen, but it's not due for release for a while.

We have loads of work at hand with the vehicle drawer system launch, and some other long awaited projects that are finally taking shape. Please don't ask me what they are 'cos I'd have to kill you :D

Will these look like the Drifta kitchens? I was about to pull the trigger on buying a Drifta setup, but if you have something coming soon, I might hold off. Any additional info? :)
