Or sometimes its just better to ask for forgiveness heh.. Before I finally obtained my own set of conduit bender I realized I could just use theirs sitting on the shelf in the same isle and add a couple bends to a long section of conduit for a fraction of the price of a couple pre-bends and couplers.. nobody ever complained.

eventually I scored a full set 1/2in-1.5in used for the cost of just one new one from lowes.
