Smittybilt Scout Trailer Reviews?

Just starting to put my electrical set up together and was wondering what others were doing to get a good ground connection to the battery? I am building a shelf in the generator compartment for the two GC2 batteries and thinking of using one of the eyelets. Any guidance or shared experience would be appreciated.

Thank you for your guidance, and just to be clear, you both ran a separate ground wire from the truck/jeep through a 7 pin or some connector to the electrical system in the trailer to use as your ground?

There already is a ground in the 7 pin. I ran the separate ground (and power) from the battery I mounted on the trailer to the Blue Sea fuse block in the main compartment. All my interior box lights, USB outlets and 12v outlets are wired to it.

Which one from Lowes is that? I had found one previously that I posted up here from Lowes but it appears to be different. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0779MSVJ4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That looks great.

Whole trailer is actually done, tested out on Friday night. Thirty solid evenings of planning and building, but it works. Gotta get a rear bumper built to offset tongue weight when the water tank is full, but everything worked great. 6 gallon water heater, 12v pump, Dometic fridge freezer, sink, stove, propane BBQ, inverter, dual deep cycle battery, and RV shower. Still some minor items to work on, but we are pretty much there!

This is looking from the right side at the pump, plumbing etc. The lines coming out toward you are the hot and cold for the shower. Figured the door was the best place. Replaceable if I ever don't like it and it's right by the plumbing. It was tricky getting the hot water heater to fit, but because of how snug it is, it's very secure. Kitchen slide wasn't in at this point. Detail: I bought 36" locking slides as the factory slides would close on me from the two water lines and gas line. Also a couple other photos. Happy to share how/what I did. A lot of the ideas came from pouring over this thread!!10D16A91-8FFE-449C-8F7A-A9D434337DF6.jpegF042A3A8-69E0-4ED2-87F6-7827FBA27404.jpeg2A74B978-BC2D-4FFE-A34C-F3E745105513.jpegB6A09214-BCBF-46FF-8194-2FCA3BC4F5E0.jpegB0CC4A51-A8F0-458A-94D3-7B2F31F17476.jpeg

Is that the 5 pound protank bracket used for the 12 pound tank?
