So, the 66 is and was the standard auto trans with the 6.4

The 68 is an optional trans, but only starting to be an option in 2012

The 68 seems like a much better trans , from videos and information I have read

How are the 66s holding up overall?

I know I spent some good coin making my old trucks 48RE bullet proof

I’ve spent a bunch of time searching the internet trying to figure out if anyone else is having similar issues to mine. I’ve only found a couple of people saying they are having issues with the 66. One said his transmission was rebuilt 3 times before 60K. Another experienced issues similar to mine. It seems like the biggest complaint is rough shifting due to the fact the gear set favors the Cummins.

I found a 2013 2500 Laramie......but with the 5.7L

Oddly enough, it has a floor mounted tcase lever, and a dial on the dash for front and rear diff lock, as well a sway bar disconnect

I thought these features were power wagon only?

Google says the 2013 PW came with the 5.7. The 6.4 started in 14.

Laramie with the power wagon package, that’s something you can order.

Correct info

However are these PW only features? Dealer claims it's a Laramie and not a PW

Not sure what years you are looking at, but if you’re on Facebook checkout the Power Wagon Next Generation 2005-present group. There are always PW for sale on it.

What I thought too......this truck doesn't have a winch or any badging / decals
A Laramie with the PW package (22P I think) would not have any decals, but would have "Power Wagon" on the tailgate. Unfortunately, the winch is often removed and sold separately.
