I have the stock 4.10s with the 6 speed. I mostly stayed in 3rd gear in low range while climbing or descending the steep, rocky terrain. I only used 1st and 2nd gear (low range) in more technical, slower stuff in Moab and it never felt like it was geared too high, because of the rubicon tc. The only time it felt like it was geared too high was on the highway, at high elevation while climbing. I think 4.56s would be ideal for me with the 6 speed or maybe 4.88s if I lived in mountainous terrain. I just think since 4.56/6speed(nsg370) is the equivalent to 4.88/5 speed(nv3550), 4.88s would be too low for a lot of highway driving, especially living in Florida. Once I find a trustworthy shop local to me I'll likely re-gear but since the nsg370 is geared pretty low, it's not as big of an issue as it is with an automatic transmission.

I'll add another pic so I don't derail the thread too much. This is descending Black Bear pass.

Red Rubi' my 2015 Firecracker Red Hard Rock

My 2015 JKURHR, Wow thats a lot of letters. Trying to build for adventure so it is set up for ease of use, hopefully. An AEV 3.5" lift and tire carrier were the first things done. Steel Pro Comp 17x9 wheels with 35's, BFG KM2's.

For the interior an AT cargo rack and a Front Runner cargo slide were installed in the back.

For the recovery items I added a Maximus3 full kit and Warn 10S winch to the front, and Rock hard engine and transfer case skids in aluminum underneath.

Looks good. What's the adventure you're planning for?

How much fuel you carrying there? Just FYI, I once took a trip across the U.S. and only needed to refuel from my 5 gallon gas can once...fuel is readily available. Anyhow, just thought I'd let you know because it could save you some weight.

Tire carrier has a 10.2 gallon tank behind the spare tire. Don't plan on using it east of the Mississippi, the other cans are for water. Built it to go to Colorado but life keeps happening!

The wife's 05. Pretty stock except 2" spacer lift and 32"s. And a bunch of pink trim...
