True. But the Cummins would twist up the Dodge van unibody like a pretzel! I WILL build a 12V Ford van.

OK, If we are posting up our Vans and boats I'll submit my shot from last weekend. Lake Pleasant here in Arizona. Funny anytime I pull the boat with the van I get tons of comments. On the boat ramp I had guys wanting to stop me to check it out. Still need to get a new paint job on her maybe this fall.

At least once a week someone will see my van and ask what the heck is that? One little kid said "look dad a monster truck school bus".
New guy here... I've been building Jeeps for the last 11-12 years, and I like to wheel. I picked this jewel up this week as payment for a custom roll cage in a CJ8. Its a 72, 302/C4/D20 with the D44/D60 combo. Had it running less than 5 minutes after getting it home. I have big plans for this thing over the winter...

I have thought about the samething, putting a 12 valve Cummins in a Ford van. If I converted a Dodge van, I would use a mid 90's 3500 extended van.
