beautiful pictures!

Why thank you! Here’s some more!

We’ve moved north from Vancouver Island via the ferry from port hardy north to prince Rupert recommended here. Vancouver Island was very rewarding and we had mixed emotions leaving. Excited for new adventures but longing for the beautiful private lake beaches we seemingly found every night. Every camp site seemed to be better than the last. There were many moments when I took a deep breath, and thought quietly to myself that I must be in a fantasy somehow. It really didn’t feel like reality at times. We’ll definitely be back to Vancouver Island in the future for an extended overland trip.

if you haven’t been. Put it on your bucket list.

In this episode we find some really amazing locations all to ourselves. It’s really been an incredible Journey so far! We’re now up in the Yukon but with Fall settling in up here, we’ll likely be heading south soon! Eventually hopefully making our way to Argentina!

Episode 009 - Overlanding Baja!

We just dropped our best episode yet! Overlanding Baja! Hermés breaks down in a very remote Mexican village and locals come to the rescue. Turns out to be a dead fuel pump and somehow, magically was fixed over night. Including dropping the fuel tank, sourcing a part, and reinstalling everything. We've put on about 2,000 miles since the replacement part and everything seems to be working great.

If you watch one episode, this is the one! Link: https://bit.ly/3woZxwd

Let us know what you think!

Holy moly! We've been on the trails for over six months! From Colorado to the Yukon to Baja California and now we've made it to Colombia! We just dropped a new episode that will get you caught up from day one to the tip of Baja! We've also included some of the preparations for the trip this time! Including a behind the scenes look at Dissent Offroad with the owner Ben getting his hands dirty and an unboxing of our Scheel-Mann seats. I hope you guys enjoy the episode! Let us know what questions you have, we love answering them! Link to YouTube episode

Here's some current photos from Medellín where we are anxiously awaiting the ship with our beloved Land Cruiser, Hermés! We'll be flying to Cartagena from Medellín on Christmas Day to start our South American adventures! Medellín is a beautiful city however and we are enjoying the change of pace within the city. Something we don't do very often!

Hey there! We parked our rig in Colombia for 9 months while we got some work done in the States. We returned to find it surprisingly in perfect order! Then we drive it around Quito Ecuador for a few days and found out old rigs don’t like sitting around. What would have been an easy fix in the states got very costly and complicated overseas.

Here’s the video: YouTube

After things were back in working order we continued our travels south through the Amazon in Ecuador and crossed into Perú at maybe the smallest border crossing ever and made our way through some of the most majestic mountains we’ve ever witnessed. The Andés mountain range is nearly impossible to articulate its beauty. Put a trip to Latin America on your bucket list. Is incredible.
Anyhow, we’re continuing our journey and happy to have you along. Feel free to ask questions, we’re all ears!
