Everyone,

Kindly put the name of your awning associated with the pics you post up as it helps us connect the dots. Otherwise, it becomes a scroll fest to see which awning you are discussing on your post! :)

Here’s my batwing from behind. Quite a bit more coverage than the 23zero you posted.

Same awning on my old FJ. You can see, NO coverage over the front fender but solid coverage on the rear and side on which it’s mounted.

That's a good one of the Batwing, thank you.

I'm wanting this area covered more than my Batwing, hence looking at the Darche or the NVS and also for the pole free standing feature.

The Baroud is pretty nice but I seriously love my OVS awing and it's a lot cheaper than the Baroud or RLD options.

When I went to gamiviti and looked at both a deployed 23Zero and Batwing, they both looked like they had the same coverage to me. I went with the 23Zero, but it was close. Each had advantages

There’s also the Kinsmen 270 that appears to cover a great deal in the back. Not as much coverage to the front but it apparently is very strong and doesn’t need support poles unless you’re going to have winds over 55 mph, snow loads over 3” or you plan on hanging a hammock from it. Weight appears to be 70 lbs and a price tag of $2,150.

It does have some cons such as the price, the front coverage and not including the support poles it would need to accommodate those unique listed scenarios. Pros are it’s made in the USA with US materials and it’s probably the most sturdy out of all. Just thought it might be included in your list.

Looks nice but other than the price, I would also add to the list of cons being the fact that he says there is a 4 month lead time associated with these orders and that it's now a "side business" for him ... Doesn't give me a great feeling when it comes to support for the product.
