I used 4 load bars because it has the support the weight of my Bush Company RTT, 270 awning and my wife's garage sale items.

Has anyone received an OVS awning recently or interacted with them at all? I ordered mine a couple months ago and was told to expect a May delivery. All good. A few days later I got a shipping notice in my inbox and was surprised. A week went by and I got no more updates, so I reached out and got a reply a day or two later saying it was a mistake. Whoops! All good.

Then a flash forward a couple of months: a few weeks ago I got another shipping notice for two packages. Score! My brackets showed up in a smaller box, and then I anxiously awaited the awning proper. It has now been about 3 weeks and the tracking number says No Information Available / If you're the shipper contact us / Delay, etc. I can't see any details about where the package was last scanned or anything helpful like that. I've emailed OVS several times over the past several weeks and I've gotten zero response. I tried calling and got no answer and no voicemail.

I'm fairly patient, and I know everyone's has had a challenging year, but I'd at least expect to get an email back saying "We're looking into it." At the end of the day, they have my money and I have no product. No sure what to do next. I *want* their product still!

I have a 180 awning, side walls, and shower room, ordered in April. The confirmation said that restock was expected on 1 June.

Any updates? Any new vendors I should be adding to this list?

Had a chance to compare my 270XT and a buddy's Shadow awning side by side during a campout in the Maze district of Canyonlands few weeks back. We were having wind gusts, close to 30mph, I reckon. Weather report kept warning us about 50mph gusts but we were protected enough to not have experienced that.

The shade cover on both of our awnings flapped quite a bit as expected, due to the huge area. The Shadow awning's rafters moved up/down quite a bit as well vs mine staying pretty rigid. We both guyed our awnings down so he might not have done as tight of a job as me but his awning survived just fine, no worse for wear. He wasn't even concerned, which speaks volume of the Shadow awning.

I REALLY like the rear area coverage of the Shadow awning vs the 270XT or my previous Batwing. Both of mine have a diagonal coverage in the rear vs his has straight coverage and it lines up with the body line of the passenger side of his 200 series. This may sound trivial but having that extra rain coverage is uber nice, if it isn't raining sideways! You can make this out in the first pic below.

In the pic below, my 80 is on the left, his 200 is on the right.
