this is the thread that came up in my search (so don't yell at me- talk to "the Engine)

i'm thinking of a smooth side contractor's style aluminum (no flutes): anyone have experience with wrapping one? I thought white roof with micarta sides, front, & maybe back swing double doors would look good.

There are a couple guys on Tacoma World that wrapped their Vagabond Drifters.

Looking for some advice on Aluminum caps.
I know all the companies make them.
After some initial research it seems only Alu-Cab, reinforces the roof, so you can cary 500lbs. I was wondering if there are any other companies that you would recommend.

Thanks
I have the ALU-CAB it is strong, it is well made, it is expensive. When compared to other options it is a great platform to build off of.

I have water in the bottom of th bed, can’t tell you how it gets there. Not a lot but heavy rain and driving appears to force it into the cap.

If given the choice of a difference cap I am happy with it and would not change.

I would consider a different option like a Habitat as I need to sleep 3-4 people
