I don't believe so.BTW, do the Gen 3s need rims with a large center hub opening like the Gen 2/2.5s do (108mm, I think)?
Those'll work, and I definitely vote for black. Kind of look like a steel interpretation of the aluminum Gen 2/2.5. Looking forward to seeing them mounted. BTW, do the Gen 3s need rims with a large center hub opening like the Gen 2/2.5s do (108mm, I think)?
Yeah I almost bought a set for mine but bought the ones I use with my 33's instead.Oooo, those are nice off-roader.
I know its after the fact Saint, but I thought for anyone else who's following your thread and looking for utilitarian steelies for their Montero, this is an interesting thread here, albeit inconclusive.

No such thing exists...sorryHave you or have you ever heard of manual locking hubs for the GEN III?
yeah I really like these too. But they come in 7.5 width. Which is not wide enough for my old 33s and current 35s
They can be mounted but I think pretty much EVERY tire manufacturer recommends a 8-9" minimum rim width for a 12.5" tire. Most reputable shops won't mount them on anything narrower because of that. Not saying they wouldn't work though. How wide were the 33's?! I've had 33x12.5's on stock 15x7's a few times...
