Went and did a day trip over Imogene Pass today In the Tundra. Had to test the off road chops. It did well but it’s no 80 series! Pics to follow! I ripped off the trailer wiring today.

Fixed my trailer harness with some epoxy and relocation! Don’t know why Toyota didn’t put this here in the first place....

Finally got around to having a full sized spare mounted up. Had to bend the tabs out of the way on the spare tire bracket with a sledge hammer. Ticks up nicely though!

Alright an update finally. My PP engineering transmission skid plate came in.

Disclaimer: I mounted this to the back of a Bud Built skid plate.

The skid itself looks great but the hardware looked a little cheap to me.

I tried to tackle it Tuesday night but could not find any holes on my cross member that were compatible with the holes in the skid plate and the u bolt mounting system in the back was sort of confusing. I ended up running them at an angle.

I ended up using my little bench drill press and drilling out some holes to match the mounts of the bud built skids and it simplified the install.
