I started wanting to do a simple set-up with a sPod, but after digging through all of the info on these forums I've ended up way down the rabbit hole.
I've tried to lay out what I pieced together from some of the more experienced builders. I've got some open questions. I'd also appreciate any suggestions. Hopefully the image posts without any issues.
Questions:
1. Since the Traildash 2 cam hooks up to the OBDII port, if I draw power off of that will it be ignition switched? (trying not to tap into the factory harness).
2. I have no idea how to hook up the DPDT switch for the cameras. The pin diagram from OTRATTW is not very helpful.
3. Grounds. I'm not sure which ones need to run back to the battery and what can go to the frame.
I haven't figured out where everything is going to fit. It's also going to be a ton of wiring, but I've seen some really awesome threads that cover the basics.
