Wow. What a picture. You don't see Tele lense compression shots like that any more. Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Wet Carpet after driving through a puddle

Have you checked your heater core for leaks? Or... I had similar symptoms with my CJ7, and discovered the floorboards had rusted through. I didn't catch what vehicle you're driving, Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Awesome tail. I really enjoyed taking my old CJ and Cherokee through that area. The ledges were neat. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

That's an awesome area. Did you make it over to the Alpine Tunnel? Were the Aspens in St. Elmo in fall colors yet? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

    Ram with canopy

All that's great. But, I can't get over that white, over-the-cab mounted rotational radar housing. Or, is that lydar? Raytheon? Take a look. Ok, maybe it's just water storage; ) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

    Nice stovetop toaster

These were very commonly used in houses even into the early 70s. That's all my Grandma had. Ah, the things we take for granted now. Thanks for the reminder of days gone by. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I never went that direction. Did you go down the staircase then? Did you drag your rear bumper? Great shot. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

    Los Angeles -Class Attack Sub(urban), Build / Collected Werks topic - '02 k1500 Z71

I know northbound 15 up the pass can be rough; even if you bailed at 138. Incidentally, Mormon Rocks, on the west side of the 15, and on the north side of the 138, has some deep sand to play in and could give your tranny a nice test. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

Jerry Can / MWC / MFC stowage box build

Hurricane Harvey reminded me of this thread. This evacuation would justify building your storage solution. I wonder how many people ran out of gas on the way out and are, stranded. .. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

    2012 F 150 Platinum

My wife urged me to sell my Cherokee and buy something more appropriate for my age and for working in an office. I sold the Jeep to a friend who is giving it TLC. I bought this Platinum on October 31st, 2016, and haven't changed a thing except for adding a tonneau. This fall, I'll have to...

    The Wanderers build

Wow, I just stumbled on this and it brought back many great memories of Superdawg and how Granville weaseled his way out of trouble. I read Rick in both the 4x4 and bike rags back in the 80's. His article was the first thing read when I got a new magazine. Thanks. I'll be sure to read your...

Project “Polar Bear”: 1989 V2500 Suburban

Do you mind sharing what lake that is? Kind of reminds me of Manitou Lake near Woodland Park, but I don't think there is camping there. Too many trees for it to be Eleven Mile, I think. .. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

    F150 overland build

I'm coming from Jeep rock crawlers, so my experience would agree with your statement. I have to admit the 20s do handle well on the curving mountain roads. My brother-in-law has a nearly identical Platinum f150. He kept the 20s, but went 275/60r 20. They do look more truck like but only add a...

    F150 overland build

After this year's snow season, I will have to get new shoes. I like the streetability of the 275/55r 20s. But, I really don't like the lack of sidewall. I have already cracked one Platinum wheel which had to be welded up again. Thinking of going 275/60r 20s, or even finding some 18" wheels...
