Lots for Xer's here but also check out Thenewx.org The issue was with the timing chain guides. Im not sure when they resolved it but Its roughly a $1k shop bill to have it swapped out. Im a 2007 with 150k miles and no sign of the problem. But will probably do it soon....just in case.

Me too, its not that heavy just awkward to carry. I started putting 2 ratchet straps around it to give me something to hold on to, but it's still cumbersome to carry.

Ditto, get quality builders parts. I got my weld through recovery tabs, latch, swing arm greasable spindle, 2" tow reciever, and other parts from comp4x4.com. It saves a ton of time, isnt very expensive and is like a big jig saw puzzle. I used 3/16" steel on the bumper face. And 1/4" on the...

You may need a UV filter for Moon shots, depending on how bright it is exposure and appature may not be enough.
