If you are looking for something older like more then 5 years I would go with Toyota. If you are looking for something newer I would go Nissan.

There are some D40 models that have a one piece bumper. The D40, R51, and N50 all have the same front suspension. It's the front diff we want. The v8 R51 has the M205 diff and all v6's have the R180.

Most SE Frontiers didn't come with the utili-track. It was an option for the SE. Personally I would a Frontier without it.

Did you drop the the headliner to install the roof rack?

You get a lot more with the PRO besides the suspension and the locker. To bed they don't make a long bed PRO.

Didn't they just add the 2005's to the recall?

Looks like the skid plates for the Gen2 Frontier, Gne2 X, and the Gen3 Pathfinder are now available. https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/skid-plates-skid-row-powder-coated-skid-plates-c-90_415_729.html So far they have the engine, trans, and radiator skids out.
