Zam15’s Tacoma Build

As usual looking spectacular. The curve on the side wings is interesting

Thanks, I like how that turned out so I'm going to keep that aspect.

Close to final mock-up from the shop, switching to a dual swing-out configuration for parking clearance and towing. Finally looks closer to a complete truck!

Impressive build you got there. I am planning to install a lift as well and add power running boards but my priority is getting a new set of mud tires. Anyway, keep the thread going, you've got a nice reference for those who wants to modify their Tacoma.

Thanks! Seems like your direction is a little different than mine. Powered running boards would get destroyed on the trail. Mud tires arn't much good around here in SoCal.

I knew you had to have it covered. Touche!

Always ;)

Nice truck
Thanks!

Swing-out bumper is making some progress, shop completed most of the welding, just a few more finishing touches and its off to paint!

Alright! Bumper and swing-out arms are back from powder coat!
She's still a little stink bug right now but once we mount the bumper, spare tire, jerrycans, and fuel up both tanks she'll hopefully sit nice and level.

thats one of the best looking rear bumpers I've seen!
I hate the way most have too many angles, yours looks simple and clean

Yeah, its pretty straight forward. Can't wait to see it all mounted up with the sing-outs on.

May do some more mods to it down the road to mount other items. Thinking bikes, propane, recovery ladders, tables ect..

Bumper mounted up, still able to pull off a table on the swing out. I rarely get this excited about a table.
