It's alive!!!

Looks great.

Thanks! I'll be spending the next few days cleaning her up even more!

Those turn signals are the best part of this build. :sombrero:

Ha! Just temp to get me home from the shop. Wired up by LED switchback turn/running lights. Turned out great! Now I have to wire up all my other lights!

Derek where do I send the last half of the bottle of bubbly? :victory:

To the desert! :friday:

damn i have a T100 MC just sitting at home Id have sent. All you would have needed. Oh well. Glad its rolling!

Well thanks for the thinking of me! She stops better than ever now. ABS was eating up so much fluid! Truck drives like a dream now. The sway-bar helped a ton! Does not feel like I'm driving a boat anymore.

Rear springs are kinda stiff, but the trucks unloaded and don't have a swing-out yet. That should make her even smoother.

Tested out the transfer pump on the way home, it was awesome to see the main fuel gauge go the opposite way for once when driving :D

Spent the last two days working on the truck.

Wired up all the lights, LED, HIDs, switchbacks. Photo By J.J. Abrams
Everything on full blast minus high beams:

I didn't see anything about how they tied in the transfer pump for the aux fuel tank, kinda curious how they set that up

I'll get a shot of the gauge and switch once they get it working. If the cover gets pulled by the shop again I'll take some shots. But I'd have to unbolt the cover... maybe sometime in the future.

Working on a lot of other little things...
So I finally made the jump to synthetic! 3/8" @ 100ft. Should be able to reach those more distant recovery points!
Trying to save some weight on the front end, but it also looks super clean now! Anyone want the 3/8" steel that I pulled off?

Also moved up my diff breather and tossed whatever was there before in the trash. Used my extra ARB filter I had floating around but did not use on my OBA install.
Ready to ford some rivers! :snorkel:

P.S. 1/4" skids are a PITA!

Holds your fuel cans on. Steel or aluminum?
Steel from CBI
Rear swing out. Guessing for water since you've got dual tanks
I mean if you want to spend a lot of time in Death Valley or Baja gas is your friend! Can avoid the overpriced stations or the sketchy ones but likely water too

My old Sunforce 60 watt solar was a fun experiment but way too heavy and did not put out enough wattage to fully power the ARB fridge.

Ordered 200 watts of solar panels. Will never have to worry about the fridge draining my batteries again! Love how technology evolves, can get more than triple the power output in the same space.
Quick fit check on the panels, and they're a perfect fit!

What panels are those?
Amazon special...

Finally made it on a few outings with the rig! Nice to get out again.

Hows it ride?

Way better than before! Just a little on the stiff side but I don't have the rear swing-out bumper fabbed yet. Once that's done we can mess with the spring rates and valving as required. Truck no longer feels like driving a boat, sway-bar + gearing + new shocks + four corner disc brakes makes for a totally new ride!

The front end will need some chopping to fully stuff those 35"s
