I'm SO thankful you posted this with the source for the parts. I was dreading trying to fix my drivers side rear quarter. The panle approach will save so much time!

Your shop help looks to be doing a bang up job!

After all the adjustments I can make and having it sent to two different alignment shops I still had a little bit of a wander in it that was just minute.. before I decided to spend $300+ on a new steering box went ahead and got a stabilizer and at his taking care of the last of the nuisance!!

did not end up using the mount.I just drilled a hole through the lower engine cross member after measuring six times to make sure I was putting it in the right spot so that I didn't limit steering travel. I still have about an inch and a quarter both compression and extension if I need it but the steering box is maxed out it might stops on the knuckles are touching.

Also I got some new rock/camping light and I'm digging how they work and look!!

Glad that stabilizer helped.
I have something in my steering assembly that is loose somewhere. I can feel it, especially backing on gravel and turning. It feels like something loose, or slack somewhere.
The steering box and shaft are the only things I haven't replaced yet.

I like those Pimp Daddy Lights...

I see you have the young headless horsemen turning wrenches!

check your intermediate shaft under the steering wheel that's what they recommended for me to replace initially mine turned out to be okay but as much of a pain in the neck as it was to get it out I went ahead and replaced it anyway.

he was helping me wire stuff up and started laughing he goes "dad I think I could sit upright underneath Yolanda..."

He could.

Decided to go ahead and install the diesel heater permanently in the van. Wasn't bad at all went ahead and cut me an Access hole in the floor to directly drill into the fuel tank. I spent several hours trying to get the fuel line down the filler neck and there's a safety check valve to keep people from siphoning fuel out of the tank so I gave up..

Videos inside and out of it running at idle and full power

Took last weekend and headed to Garden of the God's in southern Illinois..

Got to see a controlled burn of a forrest and some kinda dry waterfalls. The geology is amazing!!

Also ended up at the Mississippi River!! She's a biggun!

And some playing with the new underlights

ended up scoring a rhino rack 270 batwing awning a couple of weeks ago and been doing too much work around the house to get it mounted. We're going camping and 11 days so I wanted to get it installed and get it checked out. I got to say it is way easier to deploy and stow than the ARB awnings and the amount of space is unbelievable underneath it'll cover over my kitchen which also doubles as the bathroom when we're not cooking so we can take showers at any time or go to the potty even if it's raining!!

Case folks are wondering I have a 5K diesel heater in my long body van the top is not insulated at all. It was 13 degrees last night 17° a night before and this was able to maintain 20° c about 74f - 76°f all day and all night without a problem and it would mostly coast along on medium speed occasionally kicking on the high to catch up after the doors were open

That's good data. Thx.

Mine was delivered a couple of weeks ago, and will be installed pretty soon.

Good to see people out using their rigs!

Still chasing a little bit of steering wander. Next step after this is new shocks I know I've got one bad one and the fronts are still on 6-in struts extenders

Wanted to share some information on the Econoline steering boxes and how they compared to the F250/350

Looks like the over 4800 GVW steering boxes for the 2003-91 are for the dually with a 36 spline. The card on box is the dually

The stock steering box you can use a longer flat pitman arm from Moog but all of the pitman arms you still have to drill with a 7 degree reamer to go from the van steering box to a Dana 60 F350 stock steering linkages

Also put the stock F-350 steering box and pitman arm up to show the comparison of all the different sizes
