Aftermarket flares?

I have some after market black, pocket style flares. I was hoping to put them on last night, w/o all the parts it's going to wait. My wider tires and off set are taking a tole on my rocker panels.

Did an extra layer, on the bumper. Went back to the flat black. The bed will get the same.

The flat black does look good. And not to bad for painting in place. Thank you! Ill do the bed again as well with the flat black, and just stick to it. Still trying to get the hardware from LUND- have not heard back from them, so will call today.

Pushing, to get projects done! Got sick of waiting for Lund, just got new body clips from the dealer( as no one else had them, grr. ) good Ole chevy, they are only 3.25/ piece.

Anyway, got the new flares on. I really like them. They should help w/ the beating of my rocker panels poor things.

This weekend, should get the air tank mounted.

haha, i did do it with just a rattle can! And thank you! There are a few spots that yo can tell, but it wont take long to clean those up. The Tape and Plastic were a big help, In the past i have not done that. I decided to do it pretty last minute, A big life change is in process and until im signed I have been unable to slow down or stop really.

I also, used some RTV on the top of the fenders to help keep them in place. Although I dont think it was needed, but made me feel better. I also picked up some inch and a half #12 self tappers for them, but have not convinced myself to use them yet.

I also got all the equipment for the 2 1/2 gallon air tank to mount up. I have a few ideas there but have not decided yet.

A few nights ago i sealed the edge with a clear RTV. I doubt they were going to go anywhere, but now i know they wont..... a little over engineered its true.

I still have the 1.5 inch self tappers, and have not put them in yet. I tried one, and the stock sheet metal is curved, and slippery; so tried to pre drill a hole ( maybe should of gone smaller ) and the bit kept walking. So she may stay as is

Got all the quadband programmed a few weeks ago . All of eastern Oregon emergency services frequency's, that aren't trunked. ( My local Dispatch). And the GMRS's programmed in as well. I had never reinstalled after the bumper. I had to do some custom trimming around the quadband antenna. Fits like a glove.

I have to say, I am not a big fan about how much the thing sticks up. But don't have many options. And will maybe grab an even smaller ( shorter ) antenna for the bumper CB. Or just won't have them mounted unless I'm working a contract or on the move.

Thanks!! I am a fan of it for sure, I still need to tint the windows at somepoint. The zero tint kinda sucks, but the AC works great. My brother has another 6.0 chevy- he mentioned supercharging them the other day. I have been thinking of doing a rebuild at 300k- regardless- maybe that would be the time

A friend needs help relocating her horses, so went home at lunch and switched the moto for truck and trailer. The black does look good together i think.

Digging the flares! I’m considering doing the same to mine since I’ve swapped to H2 wheels.
