Yaesu FTM-400XDR and ARPS for Overlanding

Thought I would share two videos I did on why I chose the Yaesu FTM 400 XDR mobile HAM radio for my Jeep and our overlanding adventures and APRS.

Nice read back of the sale brochure.

It should be clarified that the navigation on the FTM-400 (and FTM-350 before it) is direct. There is no base map or understanding of tracks, trails or waypoints like you might assume on a GPS receiver. The direction heading is always pointing you on a straight line to your destination.
We should know that no one likes to read :) I mainly did it for those unfamiliar with HAM and their capabilities. Most amateur radio enthusiasts will find it boring and a "rehash"...
