I spoke to GFC this morning. They said that they should have superlite production up and running in running in 6-12 months.
Really? I thought they were discontinued?

Only discontinued in their previous iteration. They used cloth materials from overseas that became a headache with supply chain issues. So they are redoing it all from stateside sources everything, like their other products.

They discontinued sourcing the materials from overseas and plan on releasing V2 made entirely in the US from US sourced materials. At least that’s what the IG post I saw said. The guy I spoke to today said it would be 6 months or so. With all the material and shipping issues I suspect that estimate is optimistic.
If I were you and I ran across a used V1 that’s reasonably priced I would pick it up. Otherwise be patient. I’ve seen them listed for $1700-4000 on a few of the forums. That’s just greedy people trying to take advantage.
