Here's the deal, I am looking for a vehicle that could be a turn key drive from Vegas or LA to Alaska. Hopefully low enough miles, reasonable price, and would only need a few things (tires, filters, fluid)
The kicker is that I won't be in the area until next June. I need to be able to pay for part of it now sight unseen and the other part when I arrive. My wife and I are planning the trip up after her sister's graduation in Vegas and seeing some friends in Santa Barbara.
I am interested in Land Rovers, Land Cruisers, FJ60's/80's and whatever you could see as a comfortable drive at highway speeds with some capability. We are a young working couple thus we can't afford decadence, but we are considering a few different options
Hopefully we can get something we can sleep in, is reliable, lockers would be a plus, diesel would be awesome, anything Expo ready really.
