WTB: DeLorme InReach (non-Garmin) Cradle/Mount

Hello all,

I’m looking for a Ram Mount for the last gen DeLorme inReach (not newer Garmin unit). Seems everybody I have contacted online doesn’t have one in stock (even if they initially take the order!)

I’ll take either the powered mount or the non-powered. Even if it’s the cradle only without the Ram windshield mount side... I have a Ram mount i've customized, so just looking for the cradle, but I'll take what I can get!

Anyone have one hanging around or not being used because you upgraded to the newer unit?

PM me!

Wow! I had know idea these were going to be so scarce! Had I known, I would have bought an extra one. I bought mine at B&H, but I see that even they aren't carrying them anymore. I'll keep an eye out for you and let you know if I spot one.

You might want to check with Garmin, they had a couple of these for sale at their booth at ExpoWest. They were just sitting on the table. I would have got one for my Inreach SE but the screen is failing so I'm going to end up replacing it.

Great idea. The last rep at Expo east was a dealer, so I’m not sure if that was truly Garmin... I’ll see if I can get a contact name from the vendor manager for ExPO.

There's a couple tricks when searching to help control results. It can vary from site to site, so Google's methods are different than Craigslist's, but here's the general example:

To include a word, use quotes. To prevent inclusion, use the minus symbol.

"delorme" inreach mount -garmin

I was looking at mounts a few months ago and ended up just fabbing my own from a scrap of stainless. It uses the belt clip.

Thanks. I founds those and even ordered from a couple more who showed them and then claimed out of stock after ordering.

I’ve already fabbed a mount to ride next to my iPad, mounted on a ram mount, but was hoping to find the cradle to keep it locked down.

If you look in the classifieds there's a guy selling mounts for the Baofeng radios. I re-bent the side ears to fit and drilled a couple of small holes in the backplate to retain the belt clip on the Inreach. It works like it was meant for it. Haven't really needed to power it since the battery lasts 3-4 days if you're only turning it on for tracking and the occasional weather/message in camp.
